What do I do to prepare for my test?
There is no need to anything different from your normal routine to prepare for your Electrocardiogram. You may eat a normal meal before your test and take all of your medications (if any) unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
When and how will I learn the results of my test?
Please check with your doctor's office to find out how the test results will be communicated to you.
Is an Electrocardiogram safe?
An Electrocardiogram has no known risks. There are no x-rays used and there are no side-effects from an Electrocardiogram.
