Richard Schatzman

As a former 16 year owner/partner of Cardiodiagnostics, Richard now works for the company on an as needed basis, filling in as an ultrasonographer and developing and maintaining the company's websites. Richard began his career in the medical profession in 1977 while completing his BS in Respiratory Therapy degree at the University of Central Florida. As his career evolved, Richard took the opportunity to learn cardiology, working in echocardiography and cardiac catheterization laboratories for a number of years. During that time, he studied for and successfully completed national certification in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) and in Vascular Technology (RVT) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Prior to joining Cardiodiagnostics, Richard also worked in a variety of management roles in the medical field including overseeing an ambulatory diagnostics center in Orlando, Florida. Richard's interests away from Cardiodiagnostics include hiking, woodworking, oil painting, and traveling.
